This is an FYI. Interleaf when it starts up checks for a .desktop in the users home directory. If it does not find it, ileaf creates it. Problem interaction: User has extensive .ileaf files but ileaf is not active. Administrator locks the users volume for some reason, say backups. User fires up ileaf. Ileaf does not hang on waiting busy volume, but does not see .desktop Ileaf times out, and tries to create .desktop Ileaf hangs for a second time, waiting busy volume. Administrator releases volume. User has a new .desktop, causing user panic This has happen once to us about 8 months ago to one user. Curt
