Hello,

Forgive me if the wording is AFS-naive; I'm new here.

Can anybody tell me details about the term "cross cell authentication"? I
believe the idea is that rather than having to manually "klog" into separate
cells a user could be automagically authenticated across a set of cells upon
the initial authentication during login. Does such a mechanism exist?
RTFM'ing didn't reveal much in the 3.3 dox.

Are there any other "inter-cell" concepts other than the global
name space and use of "anonymous" ACL rights? We're interested in inter-
institution file & user management via AFS. Thanks in advance for any tidbits.
