We are interested in getting a log of access to our AFS cell.
A log of the client host IP address and the time of day would be useful.
At a greater level of detail, we might want to log access by volume.
This means volume ID, host IP address, and time.
Is anyone doing this kind of logging?
If so, what is the performance hit on the servers?
How do you collect the data?
I note that some of the AFS server processes have a Debug flag on the
command line. But the AFS manuals do not give any details about the
output produced with the Debug flag.
