The fix we found for this problem was to modify the info script to start info
differently.  The info script (/usr/bin/info) calls a program
/usr/lpp/info/bin/startinfo to fire up the program using infod and all that.
If you change this script to run /usr/lpp/info/bin/info_gr instead, apparently
infod is not used...at least you do not have the authentication problems you
had before.  You can just run /usr/lpp/info/bin/info_gr from the command line
if you want to test it before modifying /usr/bin/info.
