Just to warn people (and probably spoil all of Marcus' fun!), you
really don't want to run that command inside AFS!  It creates a file
that is always "not found" so can't be removed by any reasonably
simple means (short of recreating the volume).  In AFS 3.4, symbolic
links created in this manner will be handled just the same as any
other symbolic link.  I don't really know the history of this one.
