I am looking for a document explaining the advantages of using AFS versus NFS. Is there something in grand.central.org, or has anybody else written such a summary?
There's a section in "The UNIX Hater's Handbook" on file systems that discusses NFS and mentions AFS. While it's very cynical, I believe it is technically accurate.
