As with the Linux port of AFS from MIT, the NetBSD AFS port from MIT
is now available in the afs-contrib area at Transarc. Please note
that this is not supported by Transarc, even though I am posting this
message.

It is available in:

/afs/transarc.com/public/afs-contrib/bin/netbsd.client

It is protected so that only customers with authentication accounts in
the transarc.com cell can access it, and it is not available for
export at this time.

Notes from the README file:

This is the first beta-release AFS distribution for NetBSD/i386.
The distribution is a bit clunky for the moment. Please bear with further
changes to this distribution.

The software in this tar-file (afs.tar.gz) is packaged for beta-testing,
and should only be used if you are willing to test the software, put it
through its paces, and report errors and problems. You almost certainly
WILL experience problems.

This distribution of AFS was compiled for -current sources as of 10/13/94 for
NetBSD-1.0_BETA. ANY EARLIER KERNELS MAY NOT SUPPORT AFS PROPERLY.
To run AFS, your kernel MUST be configured with 'options LKM'.
[Start rebuilding it now, then continue reading.]

Enjoy!
