Wow!  I got many responses to my query about which RS/6000 models are being 
used as AFS servers - the basic answer is "almost all".

Folks from IBM tend to have the big guns (9xx series rack mount or 5xx
series "deskside").  Most non-IBM respondees tended toward the cheap end of
the scale - several sites are using 220s or 250s with no problems.  Sounds
like the biggest issue is that the 220 has very limited expandability, but
all of them have plenty of horsepower (make sure you've got at least 16MB
in _any_ IBM system!).

Thanks to all who responded.  I'm currently running some 320s (that's what 
we had lying around), but am looking for something newer to replace the rest
of the servers (IBM RTs!)...  Looks like I'll use price as my guide.
