Subject: AFS 3.4 vice partition sizing

Good morning Info-afs,

please note I've received this morning a few notes from U.S.A. (and I've
forwarded them to I1053687 at IBMMAIL, which I get them from) that I guess
should arrive to [EMAIL PROTECTED] I don't know why this problem is
occurring.

Regards,
Danilo

Subject: AFS 3.4 vice partition sizing

I am informed that AFS 3.4 will support up to 255 vice partitions per AFS
server. For a SPARC AFS Server running Solaris 2.3 and AFS3.4, is the size
of these vice partitions still limited to no more than 2 Gb or to the new
Solaris limit of no more than 8 Gb ?

thanks

ron levin
