Hi We are starting the process of looking at integrating DOS/Windows based PC clients with AFS. We are looking at PC-Interface and PC/NFS to NFS/AFS translator solution. We have done some very preliminary work with both back in the fall. Is there anyone that has implemented either one of these technologies. If so I would interested in hearing about your experience in this effort. We are interested how this two technologies scaled? Also of interest would be your decisions that were with regard to providing or not providing DOS/Windows applications to these clients from AFS.
