You have to do the following:
1. bring down the entire cell (all servers)
2. load up the new binaries (on all servers)
3. run vldb_convert (or something like that)
4. bring up the cell
The above is from memory (6 or 7 months ago). You may want to swap
steps #1 and #2 depending on how you distribute server binaries. The
entire process shouldn't take more than 2 hours unless someone hits
the EPO switch (inside IBM joke :)
