We have seen a similiar problem with afsd 3.3a running an a sun4m_412
system. SPARCserver/10 model 41. The afsd process would lockup
for 20 seconds every ten minutes or so. A reboot of the machine
would seam to clear it up for a week, then the problem would return.
This machine was also being used as an AFS/NFS translater, and two
weeks ago we disabled this feature. So far it seams to be fixed, but
it is still to early to tell.
