I'm playing with a tk tools to sniff afs... Its currently
real spartan... it currently
only runs on solaris... I'd like to get some feedback on
what's wrong with it, and what things would be good to add...
Its still very prelimiary, more bugs to work out...
(like the parameters from a fetchData...)
It already sniff for afs, afscb, ubik, vl, vol, pt,
kauth, bos, update, and rmtsys protocols...
'xplodes all of them too. Not just the rx headers, but
every RPC parameter...
It doesn't yet manage arbitraty ip address queries, nor
does it filter based on them after the data is collected.
It works in the spirit of sniffing, where you listen for
some time, then get lotsa information on the packets
displayed...
If there are any takers, let me know.. I'd like some clues about
where to go next...
