I have been running 9GB drives on an RS/6000 model 520 for some time.
I have NOT used them for AFS, but I know of know reason why they would
not work.
We have used both Seagate and Micropolis.
We had one Micropolis, have been runnin 3 Seagates, and just bought
three more Seagates.
The one micropolis failed in the field after a couple months.
Out of superstision, I now only buy Seagates (0 failed out of 3 vs. 1
failed out of 1)
We run AIX 3.2.3 (very old OS rev.)
We run standard SCSI.
I have heard that the differential SCSI doesn't work yet between AIX
(even as recent as 3.2.5) and 9 Gig drives.
