This note may be only marginally related, but I figured I'd fire it
off anyway. We have the start of a perl5 module interface into libdce
(DCE/DFS); right now, enough functions are coded to support our daily
administrative needs (sec_login_* and sec_rgy_* calls). More
functions are on the plate to be added as time permits and need
dictates.
If anyone is looking into doing a perl5 module for AFS, they may find
it instructional (ie. learn from our mistakes) to look at our DCE
module. Then again, maybe not. Either way, it's available from
