Which backup packages support AFS backups and restores? I'm looking
for information on a system that will:
-) hand AFS backups and restores in a flexible manner
-) support single-file restores easily
-) support end-user file restores
-) be scalable to a large amount of data (potentially 300G+)
and many servers
-) also support (or be easily integrated into) regular Unix backups
for HPUX, Solaris, Iris and other Unix systems. Currently the
massive amounts of disk space are on Unix system not under AFS,
but they may be migrated to AFS.
If there are any papers that discuss or compare the backup alternatives that
handle AFS, I would appreciate a pointer.
