There's some folks at CITI (citi.umich.edu) who I think might find this
idea rather amusing. I wonder if any of them are lurking on this list?
CITI did a port of AFS to the S/390 (?) in the early 90s, which was
called IFS (Institutional File System) as an attempt to resurrect IBM's
flagging mainframe business. I think all of the 390-based fileservers
were decommed by late 1994 though.
