i ported afs 3.6 to linux 2.4.0-test? since i wanted atm and afs (yes,
both at the same time, imagine that) it was very difficult and it
seems fairly stable non-smp. i believe i have a strange smp problem
(probably due to some leftover locks that have not yet been removed)
but since i developed this mainly on the ppc i dont run smp generally.
i dont know what to do with the diffs really. i could put them up
on our transarc.com contrib area.

a transarc employee told me that they were starting development on
for linux 2.4 but i have no idea of their schedule. transarc says
lots of things. im still waiting for the beta for solaris8. it took
me a day to port the 3.6 client to solaris8 (it was pretty trivial)
where is openafs already?
