I have been running a cell with Linux servers for almost two years. We
have two (Yes - I know it's wrong, and we are currently building
number 3) linux servers with Mylex PCI raid controller and good scsi
disks. The two servers is hosting all our Sun and Linux software and
about 75 homedirs (continously growing). The servers performs very
well and is very stable. We have always used the latest TransArc
server software.
So - I have only very positive experience with using Linux as
server. Feel free to ask for more specific information...
