Hello all,

We're about to begin rolling out Rational ClearCase in our environment,
and due to the design of that package, with its NFS-derived MVFS
(multi-version file system), it has certain assumptions and expectations
about the computing environment, such as the notion that the "global" path
starts with /net/hostname.

I'm wondering if there's anyone out there who's integrated the demands of
the ClearCase infrastructure with your AFS filesystem, and if so, what
approach did you use? A stand-alone VOB and view server? No view storage
in home directories? Snapshot views? Etc.

Any suggestions or war stories would be appreciated.

        -Michael Pelletier.
