Here at fermi we use the uss add command to add accounts for new users. We have had a continual problem with this command in that it appears that each of the steps in the template file are not executed asynchronously and some end up getting skipped or never complete. We think this is more a less a timing problem because if we truss the command as it is executed this slows things down enough for all the template commands to work. And as we have upgraded the system the command runs on to a faster cpu, adding more options to the truss fixes the problem once again. Now however we are at the end of the truss options we can add. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a way to tell the uss add command to pause between execution of commands?
