Our management is contemplating incorporating AFS into an
enterprise-wide move to SAN instead of locally attached
disk. This would obviously remove the replication
advantage of AFS, but has anyone had any experience
implementing this, or comments on it?
For example, we know that AFS has some specific requirements
about what kind of filesystem it can write to -- our /vice
partitions can't be Veritas.
I'd very much appreciate any input people can give.
