need help with check_cvs.pl

I'm running the check_cvs.pl script and it keeps spitting out the same lines over and 
over again.
        
        cvs checkout: cannot find module `locked' - ignored
        cvs checkout: cannot find module `by:' - ignored
        cvs checkout: cannot find module `ghartman' - ignored

I am not in the repository directory, but in my home directory.

Any ideas?
