I am sorry for my confusing problem report. I have tried so many
settings and in the end I have sent the wrong version.
I tried also the correct version
cvspserver stream tcp nowait root /usr/local/bin/cvs cvs --allow-root=/data1/cvs
pserver
but the result is the same. This is strange.
My next steps are
- talking with our Solaris administrator, if something might be wrong
with the network settings
- trying a newer CVS version
