Entries.Static

Hello,

does somebody know something about Entries.Static?
I've had such files in CVS directories in my working copy and I couldn't update
any files in the corresponding directory. After I delete the Entries.Static
files, update works correctly.
But there have to be a reason why those files exist and why those files wont be
deleted.
