Hi All,
Attached is the patch which will make WinCvs 1.1b11 open the directory and
place the selection on the file passed as a call parameter. With this patch
you can setup DevStudio to open WinCvs on the current file with just one
click of he button, just define the tool in the Tools-Customize. If you are
using Windows Commander or similiar, you can create the command to do the
same.
Please note that:
1. The filename must be passed in the long version (WinCmd needs %P%N).
2. The location of the file must be same like the location recently used in
WinCvs. If you have many versions checked-out, please select the location,
close WinCvs and run it again - this time it will find it. Well, it is not
perfect (yet), but it is still faster than the old "hunting-fo-file" way...
3. If no parameter is passed then there is no change in behaviour.
4. If you want to just go to directory, please make sure it ends with "\".
