I think so. However you should be careful that the files in question are not
checked out by any CVS user as there would be invalid entries lying around in the
CVS/Entries or CVS/Entries.log files of those users after the delete in the
repository. And of course you should have a backup of your repository in case you
accidently delete the wrong files :-).
