I would strongly suggest CVS 1.10.8 -- there have been lots of bug fixes
since 1.10.5 and no new problems have been reported.

This is the first I've heard of it. The current CVS does support the
cvswrappers file as far as marking a file as binary according to it's
extension, what's been disabled is just the -t and -f options that were
intended to allow you to treat a directory as a file (e.g., by tarring
it up on the way into the repository and by exploding it back out on the
way out of the repository). They were disabled because they could cause
serious data loss, even in local mode. I don't know what CodeFab has
done to the code, nor do I know if they're even aware of the problems,
so I would be very cautious about using their code.
(Their version of history also does not agree with my memory -- as I
recall, the client/server changes and the wrappers changes were made at
the same time by two different groups of people, neither of which made
any effort to coordinate or integrate with each other. Both groups were
"cvs maintainers".)
