Yes there are plans to do so, but the project is proceeding very slowly for
want of volunteers actually writing code. The person who's running this
project and who has done almost all the actual work on it is Preston
Bannister. This is a spare-time project for him and he's insanely busy
right now with Real Work. I have been working on this project too, but also
have many real-work projects that take precedence. Things are moving, but
slowly. If you want to learn about the status of the project, or even
better, to write some code and help things along, look at
http://members.home.com/preston/cvsscc.html.
