Hello, I'm trying to put key /etc files into CVS - that works ok. I'm now trying to setup a job to periodically (daily) commit any changes in /etc. If I run it as root, I get the above error. If I su to a cvs user, the commit stores the changed file to the repository -but then fails to update the /etc file - eg keyword expansion. Seems like I need to give this cvs user permission to /etc? Any suggestions/pointers on the best approach for this situation? Thanks, Chris
