HI folks,

I am having problems with CVS 1.9 after I have copied my executable
version unto a new machine, from HP 10.10 to HP 10.20.

The error I am getting when I do a "cvs commit" on the file
adcams130.pc is the following:

cvs commit adcams130.pc

rcs error: Unknown option: -x,v/
usage:
rcs -i -alogins -Alogins -e[logins] -c[commentleader] -l[rev] -u[rev]
-L -U -nname[:[rev]] -Nname[:[rev]] -orange -sstate[:rev] -t[textfile]
file....
rcs aborted
rcs error: Unknown option: -x,v/
usage:
rcs -i -alogins -Alogins -e[logins] -c[commentleader] -l[rev] -u[rev]
-L -U -nname[:[rev]] -Nname[:[rev]] -orange -sstate[:rev] -t[textfile]
file....
rcs aborted
cvs commit: could not unlock /adcams/home/cvs/product/kertel/iaa/adcams
130.pc,v

After finding out what is causing the error I found that it was the $
sign. I took these out of adcams130.pc and the file was commited
correctly.

I am wondering what has this $ sign to do with CVS? Is it a concelled
env variable? I would greatly appreciate if somebody can help.
