A friend of mine asked to me to send this question to the list. He (with about 20 developers) is working with a remote CVS repository. The connection is not very good (as it's also used for other activity (like e-mail, web browsing, etc)), so the work with the repository is very slow. He asked me if some sort of CVS caching (!) proxy exists. I answered no, but to be sure I resend his question to the list. What he's looking for is something like a special program that checks whether a new version of the file is available on the remote server and only in this case an actual data transfer is performed, otherwise a local copy of the file is given. Thanks, -- Mike
