Short answer:
0. Read the specs for CVS/fileattr and keep it handy.
1. Go into the repository and edit the corresponding CVS/fileattr file.

Long answer:
1. Install the "cvs unedit -e" patch which will allow you to specify the editor
you wish to unedit. This patch also includes the "cvs edit -c" patch and some
other minor ones:
1. "rm file; cvs up file" won't unedit the file.
2. Bug fix to have "cvs edit" save the correct working directory.

Hello,
I have some files that ware checked out by a user that is no longer on
the system.
How can i do cvs unedit to those checked out files ?
Iv tried to add that user again to the system (solaris) and to cvs
unedit again but with no luck.

Any idea ?

Thank you.
