I appreciate the suggestions that I have seen for
getting the external diff working in WinCVS, however
I have not had any luck so far. Since I am 100%
UNIX I find this PC thing a little awkward - but as
the caretaker of the repositories here I am trying
to make life easier for my MS bretheren.
I am using 1.1b12 and attempting to use tkdiff as the
external difference, if I execute c:\windows\command\tkdiff.tcl
independent of WinCVS it works fine. I have the
following entry in preferences for the external diff:
c:\windows\command\tkdiff.tcl
When I attempt to diff my local file against an earler revision
I get the following error message:
"Unable to open c:\windows\command\tkdiff.tcl (error 193), using
console instead."
Prior to this message I see that checkout of the earlier revision
worked.
Any thoughts...
