Hi Noel,

>VAJ)?
Short answer:
No :(
Long Answer:
It is DevStudio Add-in, that means it will work for Visual C++ (and should
work with Visual J++, but I didn't try... anybody?)
Nothing to do with SCC.
The question is: Should it?
SCC was designed by M$ and it definately doesn't fit CVS needs. You can
guess from CVSSCC project which is still trying to figure out the mapping of
the CVS commands into the limited SCC interface. With the Add-in I can fit
it PERFECTLY to the CVS needs. In fact in a short time you will see all the
WinCvs icons inside DevStudio :)
Also, with SCC API you need to sign NDA with M$, and then it is not Open
Source anymore. It doesn't help :(
With the Add-in I can fine-tune the interface to the specifics of the tool
and language - like MFC projects for example. SCC does not give that
flexibility...
I was considering to join the CVSSCC project for a while, but since the
downloads on the CVSSCC site were pulled down I decided not to. I need the
results fast, and I want to control my interface instead of mapping CVS into
SCC.

Jerzy
