Hi All,
I changed the modules file to enable the listing if modules on the server
function the way the wincvs manual said, now when I use the function I get
the names of my modules but some other junk after the names I don't want.
here's an example with the names changed:

mod1 ead out over the entire source repository.
CVSROOT working
mod2_networking r the entire source repository.
mod3 _networking
mod4 _networking

just imagine a 3 or 4 character name in place of mod#, everything else is a
direct cut and past. I was wondering if since one module has an underscore
"_networking" in the name could that be part of the problem? I can't see any
reason why it would say _networking after modules. I just tried checking out
modules with my other computer and cvs will say something like the following
when I try to check out the CVSROOT module:

cvs checkout -P CVSROOT (in directory c:\WINDOWS\DESKTOP\CVS WORKAREA)
cvs [server aborted]: there is no repository /proj/cvs/cvsroot/working

Thanks,
Alan Jahns
