Hi,
for a project, we want any developer to be able to commit
to the trunc, but only changes which are approved by the
configuration manager (CM) are to be part of a release.
Is the following a reasonable way to achieve this?
o-----o---- release branch

o--o--o--o-- trunk
: indicates action by CM (creation of the release branch
or a pull-up of a change from the trunk to the release
branch)
Normal developers are not allowed to commit to the
release branch. It should however be possible for normal
developers to create other branches (e.g. those not starting
with the string "RELEASE").
How should commitinfo / taginfo be configured in this case?
