I have just re-built my CVS server after loosing the abilty to login
no matter what account you used. I have set it up to use pserver, I
have added the line "cvspserver stream tcp nowait root /home/cvsroot
cvs --allow-root=/home/cvsroot pserver" to inetd.conf, "cvspserver
2401/tcp" has been added to /etc/services and I have deleted the hash
from "SystemAuth=no" line in the /home/cvsroot/CVSROOT/config file
and changed the no to a yes. I have set up a user account for cvs on
the server and am using the account to login to the server from
Wincvs (the account does work because I can login directly to the
server). Wincvs is set up correctly because it worked with the last
server but when I try to log in I get the following message:
cvs [login aborted]: recv() from server cvssrv: Connection reset by
peer
I've gone over everything I've done and checked that I can use cvs
locally on the server, which I can so it must be the pserver set up
thats wrong. The server is running Redhat 6.2. Can anyone think what
I might have missed or forgotten to do.
Cheers for your help
