Hi,
We have CVS repository on a SUN SOLARIS 2.6 and we are using the JCVS from
windows clients
to access to the source code repo within the development team.
Now, One of team members deleted one file accidentally from his CVS using
the JCVS. CVS moved
the file into Attic directory and marked it as dead for that user.
Now when he tries to CVS-update, it does not seem to get the file from the
repo. He deleted
the file locally. We tried to added it, but it says
Here's what I get when I try to Add File... locally:
"cvs server: friendResponse.jsp added independently by second party"
Other members in the team who are already set up with CVS can see the file,
update it and
do changes to the file.
Also, when we add a new user to the system and try to check out the code, It
does not seem
to get the file which was deleted accidentally.
Is there any way we can restore the file back into the regular CVS from the
Attic ?
