You don't mention the platform you're on. But the notion of
"groups" and "owners" directs towards any kind of UNIX. You
might want to read about setting UID/GID bits in the base
directory which will influence ownership of newly created entries
therein in today's UNIX versions. Consult your local doc,
please.
BTW I would disable this strange winmail.dat attachment.
