Checkin Problem

Title: Checkin Problem

I seem to have my CVS server and repository set up ok, and am able to import. However, when i mod a file, and then go to check it in, i get the following errors:

cvs update "Installation Log" (in directory Macintosh HD:Test1:)

cvs update: cannot open CVS/Entries for reading: Unknown Error (2)

cvs [update aborted]: no repository

can anyone tell me what is going wrong?
