Yes. Get a copy of the manual. It's available with the source
distribution as doc/cvs.ps: ftp://ftp.cvshome.org/pub/ or here:
http://www.cyclic.com/CVS/Docs/cederqvist .
Look up the client/server and probably 'pserver' in particular.
