Greetings!

I would like to upgrade to CVS 1.10.8 to take advantage of the LockDirs.
Somewhere someone said to "hunt down all copies of pre 1.10.8 CVS clients and
kill them" (or something to that effect). Is that really necessary?

The reason I ask is because I can't seem to find a Windows command line CVS
at the Cyclic site past 1.10.5 (although I have a 1.10.6 I have no
recollection of getting, which is scary).

Is the cvs.exe that ships with WinCVS ok to use? I see it's 1.10.8, but I
also see that it still has patch, merge, etc... as separate executables. Is
everyone just downloading WinCVS and then using "wincvs.exe" or "cvs.exe"
depening on whether they want command line or GUI?

Who IS responsible for the Windows command line cvs.exe?

Thanks!
