Actually the next thing I'd like to see would be the
ability to specify -r branch and -D date options
simultaneously, that seems to me like a big hole that
needs to be filled more urgently than those things
John C. mentioned.

There's already code in rcs.c, specifically 
RCS_getdatebranch(), that might
already do the difficult part of this..., 
but I haven't looked at it very hard,
so I don't know if it works the way
the name and the comments say it works.
