Uhoh.... this might be because of the SAMBA link that you are using.

Normally, the UNIX (Linux) Box will change the timestamp on the file
system. SAMBA has problems in this area. Whether they now stem from
Windows or from SAMBA itself, I don't know.

This, really, isn't a problem of CVS!
