Howdy --
We have a process installed that does it...
Let's see if I can figure it out. It's a real mess.
Imagine this:
The DEFAULT commitinfo entry runs a script which
saves as much information about a check-in as it
can in a temporary file.
A cron job runs a Perl script (Sybperl into Sybase,
should work MSSQL, but never tested) twice an hour
which just inserts all the info into a couple of tables.
There's a view which combines the info nicely.
Tada. Now, it seems so simple in that paragraph, doesn't it?
But there's constant prolems with it, and the data has been
corrupted a couple of times - in the DB, not the repository.
The repository is safe from the process.
A problem with the process is that it will not go back in time.
It will only start logging for you after you install it.
If this sounds interesting at all or something you're interested
in, let me know and I'll pick the pieces apart for ya.
