Because you haven't been reading this list (or you haven't been paying
attention) and you've been too lazy to look in the archives (e.g.,
htt://www.egroups.com or ftp://ftp-mailing-list-archives.gnu.org) to
find out that everyone running Linux has that problem and what the
solution is.
