Speaking as the newest member of the GuiCVS cabal, I would like to
second this motion. I find that I keep having discussions with Alex
via private email, and some of what we talk about would be better
done on a dedicated mailing list. Alex tells me that the other
developers use some scary chat gizmo from hotmail, but I think that a
mailing list would make a lot more sense:

- It focuses the discussion;
- It is open to the public;
- It uses technology that is widely available and in the public domain;

How about it?

(And since I have hopefully cooled down one flamefest, I suppose I
should restart another one and ask that the default reply for
messages be to _this_ list. I rarely want to reply to just an
individual.)
