The sticky tag keeps you from doing stupid things accidentally. It
almost never causes a problem unless you get fixated on it. The only
time it gets in the way is when you really do want to throw away some
changes, which is very rare and you want to be very sure it don't do it
by accident, so having to jump through hoops is *good*!
