Hello, I have a big problem: We are using a cvs-Server on NT using the cygnet port (case cvsnt-server does not provide full functionality) On comitting binary files (we don't forget -kb!!!!!!), these files change a bit (e.g. a winword .doc-file grows from 19456 to 19462 bytes, from 214016 to 214573 bytes. I talked with a person, who uses the same method as we do (I got the cvs-server from him). He mentioned it will be a problem with directories which are not mounted as binary. On several studies I found out that cvs doesn't use the mappings (I mounted c:\unix\etc to /etc, but the users are only found if I copy this directory to c:\) Does anyone know where the problem could be?
